If you like fishing, PowerVision's new underwater drone is probably for you. The company at CES introduced the PowerRay, an underwater drone that uses sonar technology and "internal lights to lure fish." This means it can locate and attract fish up to 100 feet underwater.
Designed to “redefine recreational fishing,” according to the makers, the drone utilizes a powerful “fish finder” component to locate fish, as well as a video camera that lets you shoot 4K video.
The device is also equipped with a Wi-Fi connection that allows you to transfer videos and photos directly to your smartphone via the dedicated apps for iOS and Android.
What's even more impressive about PowerRay is that it also supports virtual reality integration.
PowerVision has reportedly developed a feature that allows users to pair the drone with the company’s VR headset for a more immersive experience. In addition to that, the device works with “gravity and gestures.” This means you can control the drone simply by moving your head.
The new underwater drone will be available for pre-orders at a yet-to-be-announced price this coming February.
