As we all more or less know, in the last two weeks many social networking apps have introduced new features and capabilities for the Android and iOS platforms. For example, Facebook added the ability to upload HD videos for Android users while Twitter introduced the real-time video feature for both Android and iOS users.
Instagram, taking its turn, decided to release a major update last week, adding new commenting tools as well as the ability to remove followers without them being notified. The company is not stopping there, however, as in recent days it announced the release of a new updated version of the platform for Android and iOS users. The upgraded version also introduces a new important feature, that of “saved posts”. Therefore, both old and new to the app will be happy to save publications that interest you.
Essentially, the new feature works as a bookmark since it adds all the posts you select to a list that you can refer to whenever you wish.
To enable the new feature, you will need to use a new bookmark icon located at the bottom of the homepage that you should navigate to when you want to save a post. You are also given the option to save videos and images.
If you want to start the “saved posts” feature, make sure you have your Android or iOS phone with Instagram version 10.2. To install the new upgraded version, you will need to go to the App Store or Google Play.
