Facebook has relaunched a tool designed to help you remember the past 12 months. The company has reportedly improved the “important moments” feature it launched last year after receiving criticism from users who discovered not-so-pleasant moments in their photos.
Now the tool has been simplified, and features updated filters, which gives the user greater freedom of choice.
Facebook Year In Review is already live and will show you up to 10 photos, in chronological order.
The final product is not a video according to VB, it will not be a video, but rather a static card that will include the photos you want to share with your friends.
It should be mentioned that last year the largest social network received negative reviews as the photos that were selected completely randomly contained painful memories of separations, divorces, and natural or man-made disasters.
With the new application, users of the social network will not rely on Facebook's algorithm to select the moments they want to share.
The final say belongs to the user who can replace any photo with another of their choice, according to Facebook.
