One of The Pirate Bay's founders found guilty of hacking

Gottfrid Svartholm Warg, one of the three founders of the popular torrent site, The Pirate Bay, has been charged in a hacking case.

A Danish court has found Swede Gottfrid Svartholm Warg (or anakata ) guilty in a hacking case unrelated to The Pirate Bay and faces a six-year prison sentence .

According to Wired, a Danish court has ruled that Svartholm Warg and accomplice are guilty of stealing thousands of police ID cards, social security cards, and other sensitive personal data from the computers of tech giant CSC.

This hacking attack took place in February 2012 from a computer belonging to Warg, while his defense attorneys argued that their client fell victim to a scheme after another hacker took over his computer and committed the cyberattacks.
