Google doesn't just accept keywords, but also specific variables with which we can literally find everything. From time to time, various sites publish Google commands to find everything from images and videos to texts and other types of files.
All these commands have been compiled by a developer into an application called (what else?) GoogleHacks. Along with the installation, the program also tries to install various other useless tools, which we can bypass.
As we said, GoogleHacks is, essentially, a collection of search parameters for the Google search engine, condensed into a simple and easy-to-use user interface.
Through twelve different categories (Music, Book, Video, Tools, Hacks, Proxy, Lyrics, Fonts, Application, Torrent, Cache and, finally, Web hosting) the possibility is offered to search for content that falls into the corresponding categories. Depending on the category, the secondary parameters also change. In the Music category we can limit the search results according to the type of file (mp3, wma and/or ogg), while in Books we can search for files of the type .pdf, .lit, .txt, .rtf, .chm, .doc, .odt or even .pps, or packaged in .rar or .zip files.
In the Hacks category, password searching is implemented through six different methods, while through the Proxy category, we can search for open proxy servers, through which we can "jump" when visiting a site, in order to improve our online anonymity.
By entering the terms and setting the parameters appropriately, we simply click “Search”, and our default browser will open, displaying the search results.
