A reckless machine during movements on the streets of New York caused an incredible damage. The vehicle broke a “glass” that costs 450.000 dollars. However, let's start from the beginning. The glass was in the Apple store on 5th Avenue in New York, and according to a rough estimate it costs 330.000 euros.
Apple's store at 767 Fifth Avenue in New York is one of the most iconic, thanks to a huge flashy glass cube that Apple paid $6.7 million for its construction two years ago.
Obviously, someone's escalator maneuvers proved fatal for one of the massive glass panels that make up the cube. The damage, as we mentioned earlier, reaches $450,000 and surely the escalator operator will not expect it to be so costly.
Apple did not close its store. During the writing, the company has not yet repaired the damage.
