We present to you a Christmas gift that you won't find under the Christmas tree.
Ken Stehle, a 50-year-old father from St Peters, has been deaf all his life, meaning he has never been able to hear his 15-year-old daughter Ashley – until last Sunday. Ken recently got new technology hearing aids with a receiver around his neck and a special microphone that transmits to the receiver.
With the help of these headphones, Ken managed to get the best Christmas present of his life when he heard Ashley's voice for the first time during a celebration at her high school.
The song Ashley sang for her father was “Daddy Please Come Home For Christmas”.
"It's amazing, it gave me goosebumps. I'm so proud of my daughter," Ken Stehle told local station KSDK.
