With an IndieGoGo campaign created by Anonymous who wanted to obtain funding to expand news coverage through their own space, rather than through their existing Twitter and Tumblr accounts , they managed to raise over $ 54,798 .
Anonymous goal launched the campaign with an initial of raising $2,000to fund parts of the development process and the initial hosting of a website.
The new website will be used to present news and publications by independent journalists . The campaign video states that it will provide a space for everyone , namely citizen journalists , to be able to have all the events livestreamed as they happen .
Anonymous has never been far from the big news , and more specifically in the news about various protests and invasions.
A new news website from Anonymous could be something we've never seen before on the Internet. What they promise (criticizing traditional journalism, or at least the journalism we know so far) is to deliver news with ethics and principles.
