The iPad, beyond being a means of entertainment, is also a tool for many people for their work. They take it with them everywhere, from the office and the coffee shop to their travels. It is fast and easy to use, however, it has a weakness. It is quite fragile. One wrong fall and its entire screen can crack. There are several cases out there that promise protection from both falls and other types of impacts, however only one so far is ready for war and it goes by the name iKey StreetCase.
The iKey StreetCase is an iPad case that even James Bond would use. Built to withstand high vibrations and impacts, the team behind it had police and car chases in mind when they created it.
You can attach it to anything, and it provides a full, rechargeable Bluetooth keyboard with red backlighting. With its design, when you carry it on the road you will feel like you are working for a secret service, and if the “bad guys” drop it on you, you can easily beat them up since, as we said above, it is very tolerant of blows.
No release date or price has been announced yet, but iKey said it will hit the market in late February or early March.
