Last year we were all impressed with Liquipel, a company that would add a special coating to the iPhone (inside and out), which would make it completely waterproof. This year Liquipel is back with the second version of the product. In fact, this time several companies are collaborating together to develop the technology. This year, the company is going to release a more advanced product that is up to 100 times more effective.
The downside until last year was that to waterproof the device you had to send it to Liquipel or Hong Kong with a few other parts. This year Liquipel says it will be making a special set of tools and materials available so that technicians can do the coating in various parts of the world and in all regions.
