ESET has announced the release of the new ESET Secure Authentication, its two-factor authentication (2-FA) feature for businesses. The new version includes many improved features aimed at improving the end-user experience.
“We listened carefully to our customers about their pain points, and focused primarily on user experience improvements that will make two-factor authentication a more convenient and less tedious process. We believe that the new ESET Secure Authentication will reduce the number of cases where users are looking for ways to reduce the difficulties of authentication, which causes new vulnerabilities to the security of company data,” said ESET product manager Vladimir Matovcik.
The new version of ESET Secure Authentication offers easy authentication, with single-touch notification functionality, support for smart watches and many other improvements, such as updated installation and operation features, security and performance tweaks.
“All users need to do now is enter their username and password as usual, and ESET Secure Authentication will send a push notification to their smartphone or smart watch. It will then proceed to confirm or reject, and no further action is required,” Matovcik added.
The new version of ESET Secure Authentication with Push Authentication is available only for Android devices.
