For the most part, Windows 10 has made uninstalling very easy, but not universally so. Some of Microsoft's built-in apps seem impossible to remove. The good news is that you can remove them. Windows just doesn't clearly show you how.
But before you remove them, ask yourself how sure you are that you don't want them anymore. These are small programs that don't take up much storage space or CPU resources.
And you don't have to remove them just to get them out of your mind. All you have to do is hide them. In the Start menu, right-click the unwanted app's tile and select Unpin from Start.
Once you do, you won't see them in the Start menu and they shouldn't use Internet to update news, which you might not be interested in anyway. To find them again, you'll have to open All Apps.
Okay, I get it. You don't want them hidden. You want them off your computer. Besides, they're going to use up something.
Some - like News, Money, Get Office applications - can be uninstalled the classic way. Simply right-click on their tile, select Uninstall , and then confirm your choice by selecting "Uninstall" again.
But this doesn't work for all of them. Right-click on Films & TV, Groove Music, or People and you'll see that there's no uninstall option.
For these, use CCleaner . The free version helps.
Once you have the program ready, select Tools–> Uninstall. Then, select the unwanted application and click Uninstall.
One Windows 10 program you won't find on CCleaner's list is Edge. (I'm so close to telling you that you can't uninstall it.) The best thing you can do is set another browser as your default and unpin it from your taskbar and Start menu. After that, it won't bother you again.
