How profitable is the average Facebook user?

Facebook announced that it has reached 1 billion mobile users per month, with total active users reaching 1.28 billion users, while also announcing financial data for the first quarter of 2014.

Turnover, however, was slightly lower compared to the previous quarter ($2.53 billion versus $2.56).

The above data shows that the average revenue for each Facebook user (through advertising and user payments) amounts to $2, while in the last quarter of 2013, the corresponding amount was $2.14.
