Microsoft has finally made the decision and is on its way to removing one of the most hated things in Windows. In a related blog post, the software giant revealed that compared to Windows 8.1, Windows 10 will take up 6.6GB less space, its installation will be faster, and according to the company, the user will finally be able to get rid of the default crapware that comes installed.
To achieve these goals, Microsoft uses “Wimboot” disk compression, to reduce the size of system files, as well as the size of apps. Before installation, the system will check the RAM installed, so that there is no loss in computer performance. As part of the reduction in the size of files, there will no longer be files to recover the system in case something goes wrong, but the user will be able to create their own files to restore their computer, smartphone or tablet.
Also important will be the new update feature. Currently, the user must immediately start downloading updates and reinstalling them after each new installation. In Windows 10, when a system is restored, it will take advantage of existing runtime files to bring the system to the same point without having to do the updates from the beginning.
Finally, after the Lenovo Superfish fiasco , users will be able to set up the system as they want, without the annoying and unwanted apps that come pre-installed.
