The Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are the latest devices from Samsung that it seems have spent a lot of time perfecting. After the Galaxy S5, the Korean tech company had to go back to the drawing board to completely rethink the next-generation model.
But while on paper the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge have compelling specs, that may not be the case in real life.
The devices, as you already know, feature a powerful octa-core Exynos 7420 processor (AnTuTu declared it the most powerful mobile chip in Q1 2015) and an advanced 5.1-inch display with QHD resolution. But all these amazing features come at a high cost.

Companies like Huawei have previously expressed concerns about QHD displays, saying they are completely unnecessary. The company's CEO has said that 1080p displays are good enough. In many cases, it has been found that the human eye has difficulty distinguishing what is displayed above 300ppi.
So, while it sounds like a great feature on paper, a QHD display could prove to be useless in practice.
AppleInsider tested the Galaxy S6 against the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. It found that Samsung's new devices falter in one important feature: GPU performance.
Apple's latest phones run on a dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM and have often been considered a bit too small for "advanced" or high-end devices.
But, as you can see from examining the results attached below, the real specifications and the specifications written on paper are something completely different.
The Samsung Galaxy S6, which carries the octa-core Exynos processor, 3GB of RAM and fast UFS 2.0 flash memory, since it has to support a very demanding QHD display, the results in graphics performance are not satisfactory.
Even with 720p and 1080p displays, respectively, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus manage to outdo Samsung's new device.
The conclusion of these tests is that the Galaxy S6's GPU does not perform in demanding applications and games compared to the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. Of course, we cannot say that the Galaxy S6 does not perform, but it seems that navigation with an iPhone 6 is better.
