Following the recent announcement that Facebook Messenger will be the only option for chatting on Facebook via mobile, the application is being upgraded with additional photo and video content sharing features.
With the upgraded Messenger , users can send a photo or video message instantly while chatting with the camera, but without a preview.
More specifically, users will be able to send image and video files from their mobile phone with a simple touch on the screen, but those who choose to take a photo at that moment will have it sent immediately without any preview, editing options, etc.
Viber already has a similar feature , however, the user can first view the download and then confirm sending the photo.
Another change coming to the new Messenger is easy search in conversations and easy download of stickers with a long touch on the screen.
The upgraded Messenger is available for iOS devices, while the upgrade for Android is coming in the coming days.
