official Twitter , which has over 50 million followers, has been compromised by hackers with the aim of spreading spam links through the account.

The attacker shared a tweet that reads: "Justin Bieber Cemberut? [Malicious link].".

The compressed link listed in the tweet leads to a .tk domain 'rumahfollowers[.]tk'.

Over 13,000 users have favorited it and around 7,000 have shared it. This means that thousands of users may have been affected by this malicious link.

The well-known singer's account management team managed to restore the account, from where they announced that everything is now under control.
