Go back a few years. Back when the term gadget was used to describe a USB stick, a fancy adapter, a high-tech mobile phone, things like that. Time to go back to the present, to 2014, the year when gadgets have acquired… sci-fi character. Wearables are more in fashion than ever, only recently they have acquired an additional role. What is this? Monitoring the health and condition of the person wearing them!
Health gadgets (note: not fitness gadgets but health gadgets) are gaining more and more ground and, contrary to those who claim that they are… unnecessary luxuries, their role can prove to be pivotal. I will give you an example: imagine a car that, being connected to the watch worn by the driver, can alert him of a possible heart attack and at the same time call an ambulance by giving the exact location of the vehicle. Result? A human life. Technology at the service of man.
But what are these health gadgets that have… invaded our everyday lives, striving to make them better? We have gathered the most… "hello" and we present them to you!
