Indian Banks Association warns Windows XP users

Indian-Banks-Association-Issues-Warning-for-Windows-XP-Users

The retirement of Windows XP is a serious issue, not only for consumers, but also for businesses around the world, as many are likely to remain on this particular operating system version for many months after support ends.

Around 34,000 Indian banks are likely to be stuck on Windows XP after its removal, so the Indian Banks' Association (IBA) has decided to issue a warning to emphasize that the transition is mandatory.

Microsoft itself has said that it is working with banks in India to set up the transition program, as many are expected to move to Windows 7 or 8 in the coming months.
