Claude Gets “AI Wrapped”: See How You Use AI

The success of Spotify Wrapped proved that users love seeing statistics and overviews of their digital activity. In recent years, the same philosophy has been adopted by services like YouTube, Uber and many other platforms. Now, the trend is spreading to the field of artificial intelligence , with Anthropic introducing a new feature for its chatbot Claude that attempts to show users not only how much they use AI, but also how it has become integrated into their daily lives .

Claude AI Wrapped

The new feature, called Reflect, acts as an interactive dashboard that aggregates data from Claude’s usage and presents it in a way that encourages the user to evaluate their habits. Rather than limiting it to simple statistics, Anthropic aspires to turn the review into a tool for self-improvement and more conscious use of AI.

Detailed information on how to use Claude

The feature allows the user to select different time periods – from the last month to the entire year – to gain an overall picture of their interaction with the chatbot.

The system analyzes the main topics discussed, the categories of tasks assigned to Claude, and usage patterns throughout the day. This way, the user can easily see whether they are using AI primarily for work, creative writing, programming, education, or personal organization.

At the same time, the platform displays information about peak usage times, allowing users to better understand their daily habits and see when they rely most on their digital assistant.

Emphasis on the balanced use of artificial intelligence

One of the most interesting features of Reflect is that it doesn't just record data. Anthropic is trying to encourage a healthier relationship with AI by offering tools that resemble digital wellness.

Users can set personal “quiet hours,” during which the system will discourage use of Claude, and they can also create reminders for short breaks after a certain period of continuous use.

The company also revealed that a total usage time indicator, allowing users to know how many hours they have spent on the chatbot in total over a month or year.

AI as a thinking tool, not a replacement

The philosophy behind Reflect is directly linked to Anthropic's strategy. The company has invested heavily in positioning Claude as a "thinking partner" rather than simply a system that executes commands.

For this reason, the new feature includes questions that invite the user to reflect on how they use AI. A typical example is the question: "What is one thing you want to continue doing yourself, even if Claude could complete it faster?".

The goal of this approach is to enhance creative thinking and avoid overreliance on artificial intelligence tools, an issue that is increasingly of concern to the technology community and education experts.

Privacy policy

Anthropic clarifies that Reflect does not access the content of applications connected to Claude, such as a user's emails or other personal files.

Instead, the review is based solely on how the chatbot was used. For example, it may appear that the user leveraged Claude to summarize their incoming emails, but their content is not recorded or analyzed. Additionally, conversations that occur in mode incognito are not included in the report data.

A new trend for AI chatbots

The new feature is yet another sign that the AI market is maturing, and companies are looking for ways to differentiate themselves beyond the performance of large language models. It’s no longer enough for a chatbot to respond quickly or accurately; its creators are seeking to offer tools that help users understand their own habits and leverage AI in a more conscious way.

Anthropic’s initiative is likely to be the start of a new trend, as we are likely to see similar features from competitors such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Google’s Gemini, or Microsoft’s Copilot. In an era where artificial intelligence is becoming an integral part of everyday life, the ability to understand how to use it may prove to be as important as its capabilities themselves.
