Sentencing of LulzSec hacker Sabu postponed

The sentencing of LulzSecHector Xavier Monsegur, also known as Sabu, was scheduled for last week, on October 25. However, the hacker's sentencing was postponed once again, following a request made by the government.

“The government submits this request, on behalf of both sides, asking for a postponement of the sentence set for October 25, 2013, in light of the defendant's ongoing cooperation with the government”, the letter to Judge Preska, who has taken the case, states.

The authorities requested that the sentencing take place on January 13, 2014, at 16:00 .

Meanwhile, another member of LulzSec, Jeremy Hammond, revealed that the US government uses Sabu to carry out attacks against various organizations, including foreign governments.
