The new TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro is released as an upgraded version of the TicWatch Pro 5, the smartwatch that many loved.

Under the hood, it's practically identical, with a Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 processor , 2GB of RAM , 32GB of storage, and the same 628 mAh battery paired with a 1.43-inch dual-display display for very long battery life.

What's new this time?
It all comes down to the hardware, starting with the display. Mobvoi upgrades from Gorilla Glass to sapphire crystal, offering a highly scratch-resistant surface that will withstand just about anything you throw at it. The watch's frame is still made from the same 7000 series aluminum and glass-reinforced nylon.

The TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro is a bit thinner, however, at 11.95mm thick compared to the Pro 5's 12.2mm.

You'll find that the design has been slightly tweaked, with "enhanced bezel" around the display and an updated rotating crown.

The rubber strap has also been slightly upgraded. While the Pro 5 included a silicone band, the TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro uses a 24mm “Fluororubber” band that should feel closer to the sport bands for the Pixel Watch and Apple Watch. And, from my own use of the watch, it feels very good.

The great thing here is that the “Enduro” doesn’t have a price increase. It will cost the same $349 as the TicWatch Pro 5. For an objectively better smartwatch, these are great new features and make it a solid choice for a Wear OS watch.

It's worth noting that the new model still ships with Wear OS 3, but when we asked, Mobvoi told us it's currently " in progress " for a Wear OS 4 beta testing program . We're hoping this will be faster than last time, especially given that Google will likely release Wear OS 5 in the coming weeks.
The TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro is available from yesterday on Mobvoi 's website and on Amazon .
