The Winter Contingency III Operation has arrived, offering a rich catalog of free holiday-themed customization rewards, running from December 19th to January 30th. Players have the opportunity to deck out their Spartan and gear with 20 levels of free holiday-themed customization options, bringing a festive touch to the battlefield.
The Winter Contingency III Operation Pass introduces 20 levels of free customization rewards, including new armor pieces like the Santa-inspired Winterknight helmet, new overlays, as well as nameplates and markings.

Players can also upgrade their Operation Pass with premium options. For 500 credits, an exclusive customization item is instantly unlocked, keeping the Operation Pass durable (no expiration) and offering bonus experience and an additional challenge slot during the operation. Alternatively, for 2,000 credits, all 20 levels of the Operation Pass are instantly unlocked, including the exclusive bonus customization item.
By purchasing any of the above options, the player will also unlock the exclusive Ice Fissure armor coating, adding even more customization and additional options to their experience.
Decorate the hallways with Spartan Santas! The Santa's Little Helper Pack is available in the Halo Infinite store and includes the following items:
- Stocking Stuffer MK50 Sidekick, Slay Bells BR75 and Holiday Cheer M41 SPNKr weapon models
- Santa's Little Helper, Good Morning, Payment Due and Krampus Coat of Arms overlays
- Yule Kick, Blood Jumper, and Hearth Fire armor overlays
- Gifted Step Mythic Armor Effect Set
- Winter Step and Winter Lights armor effects
- Chill Out Killing Effect
- Snowballer Weapon Pendant

There will be no holidays if we don't stop the Banished.
Firefight : Legendary King of the Hill is here! As you know, you’ll face waves of Banished enemies across a variety of maps, including the House of Reckoning from Halo Infinite’s campaign. Those who want to test their mettle can join in on the action at Mythic difficulty for a limited time.
We're improving the experience for those who love Firefight and want to spend time battling the Banished. First, Match XP (Battle Pass) payouts for certain Heroic and Legendary achievements will be slightly higher to reward the level of challenge. Second, Heroic and Legendary will also have slightly increased Career Rank payouts thanks to an adjusted Applied Score multiplier to ensure they are more consistent with other playlists.

Last but certainly not least, the challenges offered each week will be adjusted to better serve the PvE experience. Because we're using existing challenge objectives, this means players may face similar challenges in their ranks for the foreseeable future.
