This information comes from Haitong International Securities analyst Jeff Pu and is reported in a research note presented by the website MacRumors. No further information. It is noted that the same source had previously reported that both Pro models will be more expensive than their predecessors. However, the iPhone 15 Pro Max stands out in this regard.
The significance of the message is unclear as to whether the iPhone 15 Pro will see a price increase. However, the iPhone 14 Pro Max starts at $1,099 / £1,199 / AU$1,899, suggesting that the iPhone 15 Pro Max could be very expensive.
If there is a price increase on one device and not the iPhone 15 Pro, as MacRumors reports, it could be due to the rumored periscope camera. This camera is supposed to be only on the iPhone 15 Pro Max and will provide a greater zoom range compared to the regular telephoto lens expected on the iPhone 15 Pro. Multiple sources are reporting that there will be no periscope camera on iPhones until the iPhone 16 series.

In the same message, Pu mentioned that the iPhone 15 series is expected to enter mass production in August, as it does every year, implying that Apple is moving forward as normal to announce its new models in September.
Pu mentioned the iPhone 16 Pro in a research note, claiming that there is a “low” chance that phones will have solid-state volume and mute buttons.
This feature – which meant the buttons didn't move and instead provided haptic feedback when pressed – was initially rumored for the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, but reports suggested that technical issues meant it wouldn't be ready in time.
It was believed that the solid-state buttons would be integrated into the iPhone 16 Pro, but if Pu is right, then that won't happen. However, it's too early for rumors about the iPhone 16, so there's a chance that things could change in the future.
