We have a few more iPhone 15 leaks to share with you, and the latest rumors about the specs that are circulating show two components that are unchanged from the iPhone 14 series, released in 2022, as well as two that are changing.

These details come via well-known tipster Revegnus on Twitter (via GSMArena) and cover the display, main camera module, processor and RAM of the iPhone 15 Pro Max – a phone also referred to as the iPhone 15 Ultra in some circles.
Putting the naming issue aside for now, the phone apparently retains the same 48MP Sony IMX803 camera sensor found in the iPhone 14 Pro Max. This contradicts previous reports that suggested the introduction of the Sony IMX903, with the same megapixel count but a larger sensor (to capture more light).
Panels and processors
Apparently, the M12 OLED panel technology also remains the same – although we’ve heard that the display will be slightly smaller and slightly narrower this time around, compared to its immediate predecessor. It also sounds like the display bezels will be thinner than ever.
There will also be some real upgrades: the source confirms the widely expected jump to the A17 Bionic processor for the iPhone 15 Pro Max, and the RAM will apparently increase from 6GB to 8GB.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max (or iPhone 15 Ultra) and the other three models will be available in September, if Apple sticks to its usual schedule. Before that, there's WWDC 2023 early next month, where we'll hear all about Apple's upcoming software updates.
Suggestion: iPhone 15 Pro Max may feature an ultra-bright display
Analysis: contradictory reports
It's rare that every rumor surrounding a phone fits perfectly with all the others, and there have certainly been conflicting reports about the iPhone 15 Pro Max - including on the subject of what we should call it, as we thought Apple would introduce a new Ultra brand this time around.
More recently, the Pro Max name has become more popular in leaks and rumors again, so it seems like Apple will go with that name. Of course, the company's plans and projects can change, and there may still be ongoing discussions within Apple as to what this phone should actually be called.
When it comes to the rear cameras of the iPhone 15 models, there have again been discrepancies in the rumors. Some leaks talk about a revamped camera system and a larger camera bump on the back, while others suggest it will be more or less the same for the 2023 models.
Of course, not every leak and rumor is going to be accurate and it's very likely that they will cause some confusion and misunderstandings about which information applies to which version of the iPhone 15. Everything will be clear in a few months during the official presentation.
