
With the ongoing legal battle between Apple and Epic Games , it was no surprise that Apple was willing to allow the popular battle royale game Fortnite to the App Store. However, Epic Games seems to have found a solution, starting a partnership with Nvidia. streaming gaming service Nvidia, will soon add support for Fortnite, allowing players to play Fortnite through a browser on iOS devices, with touch-based controls.

Nvidia introduced Safari integration, allowing the GeForce NOW game library to be played on iOS devices. At the time, Nvidia said it was working with Epic Games on a touch-friendly version of Fortnite that would run on iPhone and iPad.
Now it looks like Fortnite for mobile is almost ready to go. Nvidia has announced the imminent release of a closed beta version of Fortnite, which users can sign up for.

There's a waiting list on the GeForce NOW site, and Nvidia says players can sign up for free to play the new touch-control version of Fortnite on mobile devices. The game will be available on both iOS and Android devices, via browser integration.

Those who want to try the new version will need to create an Nvidia account, join the waitlist, and sign up for a GeForce NOW subscription. Nvidia says that space is limited.
Selected beta testers will receive access to Fortnite later in January. After the beta, we may see an official release of Fortnite for GeForce NOW.
The Fortnite app has been unavailable on the iOS App Store since August 13, 2020, when Apple removed it after Epic Games violated Apple's app store guidelines.

The legal disputes between the two companies are ongoing.
Apple in September 2021 said it does not plan to allow Fortnite to return to the App Store until the legal dispute is concluded, a process that could take many years.
