Instagram users can add pronouns to their profiles

Instagram has added a new feature that will allow users to add pronouns to their profiles. Instagram will allow users to add up to four pronouns to their profiles that will appear next to their username. This feature will be appreciated by users, as most of them already put pronouns in their profile bio.

Instagram users can choose to have their pronouns displayed on their profile or only to followers . This feature will be enabled by default for users under 18, The Verge reported. There are a number of different pronouns that users can choose to add to their Instagram profile. There is also an option to fill out a form to add pronouns that are not available in the list of options that Instagram provides. You can add your preferred pronoun and Instagram username to the form.

If the feature is available, you'll see a new "Pronoun" tab in the "Edit Profile" section. Here, you can type in the pronouns you want and Instagram will suggest pronouns from the list of available options. You can choose up to four pronouns to display on your profile. Just below that is an option to show your pronouns only to your followers. If you want this, simply toggle the option on. This way, only your followers will see your pronouns.

This is a small but important feature that Instagram is rolling out to improve its platform. Now users can choose to add pronouns directly to their profiles instead of having to make them part of their bio.
