Having trouble reading tiny Safari fonts on your Mac? It's easy to make all small fonts larger by default in Safari with a quick change in Safari Preferences. Here's how.

Tip: How to search open tabs in Safari on Mac
In Safari, you may be familiar with increasing or decreasing the font size on a website-to-website basis using the keyboard shortcuts Command+Plus (“+”) and Command+Minus (“-”). But if you don’t want to mess with these settings for each website, Safari lets you increase the minimum font size and apply it to all websites you visit.

The feature is similar to Safari's Page Zoom feature. While the zoom feature enlarges both the content and the text, the font size feature preserves the original formatting of the page and does not touch the media on the page.

To get started, open the browser on your Mac. Click “Safari” in the top menu bar and select “Preferences” from the drop-down menu.

In Safari Preferences, click the “Advanced” tab.

On the “Advanced” tab, locate the “Accessibility” section and click the check mark next to “Never Use Font Sizes Smaller Than.” In the drop-down menu, choose between font sizes “14,” “18,” or “24.”.

Immediately, you will see the text on all open websites change to a larger size.

If you change your mind later and want the smaller font sizes back, click “Safari” in the menu bar and go to Preferences > Advanced, then uncheck “Never Use Font Sizes Smaller Than.” Alternatively, you can simply choose a smaller font size from the menu.
