The Disney+ streaming platform has been hit by some technical issues as a large number of users visited the platform to watch the WandaVision series finale .

Some users in the US, who stayed up late to watch the season finale, received error messages instead.
“We’re sorry, but we can’t play the video you requested,” the notification says. “Please try again. If the problem persists, contact support Disney+“
As Disney 's troubleshooting website states , error code 39 is used to indicate " that the video you are trying to watch cannot be played at this time ." It could be the result of technical issues, but also watching the platform on an unsupported device or with an unstable connection, the page says.
Episodes air at midnight Pacific Time, or 3 a.m. on the East Coast, meaning that any user who wants to watch them once they're released has to do so at relatively inconvenient times.

The show had already proven incredibly popular among users before star Elizabeth Olsenhinted that the final episode would feature a surprise guest appearance.
As such, fans rushed to watch the episode as soon as it was released, in an effort to be the first to see who the mystery guest could be and avoid spoilers about who it might be.
Despite being a relatively new platform in the streaming, Disney+ has mostly managed to stay current, even with highly anticipated shows.
Its streaming platform is powered by Disney Streaming Services, a subsidiary of the company that started as MLB Advanced Media, which was formed to create the technology to live stream major league baseball games. It is also available on other streaming services, helping power ESPN+ and the NHL.
