The user interface on the new PlayStation 5has placed the options in a hidden menu, making them a little difficult to find. Below you can find these options so you can easily turn off console , restart it, or put it into Rest Mode using your controller.

How to turn off PlayStation 5 via controller
The power options on the Playstation 5 are now hidden in the Control Center, which you can only find with the controller.
To open “Control Center,” press the “PlayStation” button on your DualSense controller. This is the button just below the rectangular touchpad that has the PlayStation logo. Pressing this will bring up Control Center on screen , even if you’re in the middle of a game. The power options in Control Center are on the far right of the row of icons.
Press “X” on the DualSense controller when you reach the icon that looks like the power button and you will see three options.
The first is “Rest Mode,” which puts your PS5 into a low-power state. The benefit of this mode is that the PS5 will still download and install game updates, and your games will remain paused until you’re ready to resume playing.
The second option is to turn off your PS5. This is necessary if you are not going to turn the console back on for a long time.
The third option is to restart your PS5. This is useful if you are having problems with your console and want to restart it.
