Russia expresses its dissatisfaction with the Israeli Supreme Court's decision to support the extradition of a Russian hacker.
“We regret the decision of the Supreme Court of Israel to reject Mr. Burkov’s appeal not to be extradited to the US,” the Russian embassy in Israel said in a brief statement posted on Twitter.

“This decision constitutes a violation of its rights as well as Israel’s international obligations,” he added. “This step does not contribute to the development of Russian-Israeli relations.”.
The Supreme Court last Thursday rejected a petition by hacker Aleksey Burkov against his extradition, giving the green light for his deportation to the United States against Moscow's wishes.

Hacker Burkov, who was arrested in 2015 at the request of Interpol, is wanted in the US for a major credit card fraud through which he stole millions of dollars from American consumers.
Many believe that she is connected to Israeli-American Naama Issachar, 26, who was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison for drug offenses.

Israeli officials have denounced the sentence as disproportionate and are appealing to Russian President Vladimir Putin for his release.
