The new Microsoft Project is now available worldwide

Microsoft Since last year, Microsoft has been working on its software Microsoft Projectto improve it and bring changes that will make it easier for users. Yesterday, October 29, the company announced that the new Microsoft Project is now available worldwide. The only countries where it is not yet available are France and South Korea. The reasons are not yet known.

Microsoft representatives said that the new Project had been gradually rolling out since mid-October.

The company has tried to create a new Project interfacethat is simpler and cleaner. Microsoft has made improvements to the way new members can be added to teams, as well as the way users can move between boards, Gantt charts, etc. The new Project also integrates Microsoft Teams, Power BI, Power Platform low-code/no-code tools, and Office.

Another feature is a new plan. The company is calling it Project Plan 1.Project Plan 1 combines the features of Project Online Professional and Project Online Premium. Microsoft has made some other changes as well. It renamed Project Online Professional to “Project Plan 3” and Project Online Premium to “Project Plan 5.” The two together create Project Plan 1. Project Plan 1 is available starting yesterday in the U.S.Other countries will be able to buy it starting in mid-November.

It took the company some time to bring these changes, as it made many efforts to create a “cleaner” Microsoft Project with clearer services (that serve different purposes). So, the company created the new Project, which, among other things, benefits from the Common Data Service platform , which helps securely store and manage data .
