Nikon Mirrorless: The most exciting announcements in the world of photography over the past few years have been centered around two new features:
Mirrorless designs that make cameras much smaller and lighter than they otherwise would be, and a full-frame sensor that can produce the best possible images.
Of course, the most exciting cameras are those that carry both features, like Hasselblad’s X1D or Sony’s A7 III.
Nikon is following the trend, and without announcing anything, is preparing to release its own mirrorless camera on August 23, 2018.
The company’s teaser website has published one of four videos for the upcoming launch of one (or more) Nikon Mirrorless devices.
Check out the video below, featuring a track from the Interstellar soundtrack. Nikon promises that the new lens will be “an answer to the challenges of the future.”
Apparently, with a new mount and a new system, Nikon is promising new Nikkor lenses designed specifically for this full-frame mirrorless camera. However, no further details have been announced.
Stay tuned to website for the other four video teasers of the upcoming Nikon Mirrorless, or upcoming ones, which will appear over the next 18 days.
