Huawei: What is its response to the exclusion from future Android upgrades?

Google has decided to end its partnership with Huawei and exclude the Chinese company from future Android operating system updates . According to Google, new Huawei smartphones will not have access to popular services such as Gmail, Google Maps, Google Play, Chrome and YouTube.Huawei

This decision by Google comes after Trump's decision to ban American companies from working with Huawei unless there is a special license.

Following this, the Chinese tech company sent an email to The Verge, in which it highlighted its contribution to the development of the Android operating system around the world.

"Huawei has made significant contributions to the development of Android around the world. As one of Android's key global partners, we have worked closely with the open source platform to develop an ecosystem that has benefited both users and the industry."

At a time when other companies were seeing their smartphone sales decline or stagnate, Huawei was the only one to show a significant increase in sales of its Android phones. In the email, Huawei reassures its customers and confirms to all owners of Huawei and Honor phones that they will not stop receiving security updates and after-sales service . The same applies to all smartphones and tablets, which have already been shipped to stores around the world.

The company also stated that it will continue to work hard to create a safe and sustainable software ecosystem, so that it can provide the best experience to all users worldwide.

And Google itself has said that people who already own Huawei phones will have access to the Play Store and be able to update their apps. However, as of now, they won't be able to get future Android OS updates from Google.

To change this situation, the issue between China and America will probably have to be resolved. Because of this dispute, Huawei has been blocked by many Western countries, as it is considered an ally of the Chinese government.

However, according to reports, Huawei has not been sitting idly by. It seems that it has begun developing its own operating system, similar to Android.
