Security is a key issue that concerns all companies. Apple has created iPhone security apps, such as Find My Friends and Find My iPhone. Now it's creating a new app that will combine the other two.
Apple is reportedly planning to release an app codenamed GreenTorch. It is a merger of Find My Friends and Find My iPhone with the new Find My Network app. This app will allow users to track their phone even when it is not connected to the Internet.
The company is already testing the new application.
The application will include all three applications together and will allow the user to share their location with their family, friends and people in general from their environment. There will also be the ability to receive the location of others.
Finally, users will be able to use the app to find a device, even AirPods.
In addition, the company is planning another device, called the B389, which will be a tag like the Tile Tracker. The new product will connect to any device, whether Apple or not. The goal will be to locate the device in case it is lost.
The tag will be linked to the users' iCloud ID and every time the device is moved away, the user will receive a notification.
With the creation of this new device tag, Apple is introducing a new security system that will allow users to monitor both their Apple and other devices.
No further details are known. It is likely to be released at WWDC 2019 or in September when the 2019 iPhones are released
