Mozilla , has announced Firefox for iPad . The new app has a variety of features and most importantly, is tablet- friendly . Plus, with Firefox on iPad you'll get all the features you love in the Firefox iOS app from day one.
One of the features you'll appreciate is the Split screen mode, which allows you to place two applications side by side, meaning you can have Firefox open on one side and any application you want on the other.
Private browsing for iPad is also easy. You will be able to switch to a private window without having to go through multiple steps, just one click is enough. You will find a purple private browsing icon in the bottom left corner of the browser window, just click and enjoy.

Additionally, Firefox for iPad has support for many keyboard shortcuts that typically work on a Mac. For example, Command + R to reload a page, Command + shift + P to open a private tab. You'll also be able to send tabs to your other devices if you have a Firefox account. Firefox for iPad also supports Dark theme and Night Mode.
It's worth noting that you can't set Firefox as the default browser on your iPad, which is a limitation of iOS.
