Motorola has released its own parody ad, except this one is aimed at Samsung!
In the relevant Samsung ad, an iPhone fan is seen growing up and "maturing" and switching from Apple to Samsung, after realizing that the features of the latest iPhone models are technologically behind those of Samsung.
Motorola, on the occasion of this advertisement, shows a man in a similar apartment, who is watching a video on Samsung Galaxy Note 8.
His girlfriend looks at the Note 8 with disdain, before pulling out her own Motorola phone with a built-in projector and projecting the same video onto the wall, while he looks on in surprise.
The ad flashes the phrase: "Upgrade to Upgrade."
Motorola is emphasizing its Mods – the modular add-ons that attach to the company's Z series phones.
But while Samsung 's message (in the corresponding ad) highlights the range of features of its devices that have won over its fans (like the Note 8's waterproofing and stylus), Moto Mods haven't quite caught on with smartphone users.
However, this ad is much more targeted than the ad Motorola released last April, about the new features of its devices.
