It was taken from a height of 37,000 feet (about 11 kilometers) above the Pacific Ocean and is, without a doubt, one of the most spectacular aerial photographs of a storm ever taken.
The photo was taken by photographer and LATAM Ecuador Airlines pilot Santiago Borja, and published yesterday in The Washington Post.
