Microsoft's aggressive upgrade strategy for Windows 10 could bring a lot of problems to the company, as most users are very angry with this approach.
A petition published on change.org by the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) calls for an investigation into the practices followed by Microsoft, and forces users to install Windows 10.
Sometimes, as we have published, it upgrades its customers' computers without their consent.
“Microsoft’s practices with their latest operating system, called Windows 10, are unethical at best and malicious at worst,” the report reads.
So far, about 700 people have signed the petition, which aims to collect 1,000 signatures. The goal is very likely to be reached as the news spreads very quickly across the web.
Microsoft has not yet commented on the EFF's move, but there's a good chance it will ignore it completely.
