Sony Mobile is planning to surprise launch its new Sony Xperia Z5 smartphone sometime in September. In fact, the device may be officially unveiled at IFA 2015 and will most likely go on sale later this year.
We're not sure when and where the Xperia Z5 will be available, but the website Technodify that leaked the information also mentioned some specifications.
The Sony Xperia Z5 is said to be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset, which has not yet been released on the market, but is already being tested in some prototypes, such as the Xiaomi Mi5.
The powerful processor will be complemented by 4GB of RAM. There is no word yet on storage, but we expect the Xperia Z5 to feature a microSD card slot for memory expansion.
Rumors say that the smartphone will feature a 21-megapixel camera with a Sony Exmor RS IMX230 CMOS sensor, autofocus, LED flash, and 4k video recording.
The Sony Xperia Z5 will be powered by a massive 4,500 mAh battery and will definitely include a fingerprint recognition sensor.
We also expect the smartphone to run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop since the new Android M will not be available until its release.
