Exciting times for Windows Insiders, as Microsoft has just released the new Windows 10 Build 10159, 24 hours after the release of build 10158. Although rumors had it that Build 10158 would be the last build before RTM, it seems that Microsoft is planning things a little differently.
Windows 10 build 10159 is now available for download, just one day after the previous release. Microsoft says it's highly recommended that you install it, as it contains around 300 fixes.
"We had already mentioned that build 10158 was going to be a very updated version, for yesterday's data. Windows 10 Build 10159, in addition to most of the fixes (over 300), also has a very interesting change," says Gabriel Aul, head of the Windows Insiders program.
What's new in build 10159?
As we have already mentioned yesterday, Windows 10 build 10158 was one of the most stable and reliable builds released to date, so many of you may be wondering what exactly the new build 10159 brings.
The only major visible change is the addition of a new wallpaper, which will be the official Windows 10 desktop background that Microsoft announced a few days ago.
In addition to this, there are also the several (300) bug fixes that Microsoft mentions, which seems to be rushing to catch up with the July 29th date that it has committed to releasing the new operating system.
Please note that build 10.159 is only available to users enrolled in the Fast Ring of the Windows Insiders program and that there are no updates available in the Slow channel.
