Microsoft App Studio for beginners who want to develop apps

Microsoft's App Studio is a tool for novice developers who want to create apps for Windows Phone.

The app was announced via the official Windows blog.

Microsoft's App Studio will not only allow users to develop apps for the current Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone 8.1 platforms, but also for the upcoming Windows 10 operating system.

New and improved features include:

• Live Tile updates will be possible with improved battery consumption
• Integrate the Xbox Music database into search results
• Bing Maps via apps
• Detailed analytics application
• Dual sideloader tools for testing applications in Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 environments

App submissions to the Windows Store won't begin until sometime before this summer.

However, those who want to start developing their ideas with the application can do so now with the new App Studio Beta.
