Microsoft may have recently unveiled the new Surface 3 tablet, but according to Digitimes the company is likely preparing to unveil a new model at the upcoming BUILD 2015 developer conference later this month.
A Digitimes report cites the same “supply chain sources” as always, and reveals that the Surface Pro 4 will be unveiled at this month’s BUILD, with production starting in June.
According to the publication, the device is expected to be released on the market alongside Windows 10 later this year, when the new operating system is released.
Windows 10, as we have already mentioned, is scheduled to be presented in the second half of 2015, while some rumors coming from within the company claim that the RTM version is scheduled for June and the general availability of the operating system for August.
The technical specifications of the Surface Pro 4 are not yet available, but the device is very likely to come with next-generation hardware and a large display of at least 12 inches.
BUILD 2015 will begin on April 29, as announced by Microsoft.
