Apple has released iOS 7.1.2 for the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad in an attempt to resolve some issues that haven't been widely publicized, but were apparently serious for the company.
The update contains “bug fixes and security updates,” so it’s definitely worth installing.
The update is available over the air (OTA) for now. iOS 7.1.2 contains security patches and a number of fixes for applications such as iBeacon and connectivity issues with third-party accessories. Apple's Mail app appears to have been updated to protect the data of Apple friends.
