Apple In and Samsung are reportedly in talks to end all future litigation, Kim Yoo-chul, a senior Samsung watcher, told the Korea Times. The news comes just days after Google and Apple announced an agreement to drop all lawsuits they had filed in court.

2012, court rulings awarded Apple more than $1 billion in damages for patent infringements by Samsung, but that amount was later reduced to $930 million. Just last month, a second trial awarded Apple $120 million, but Samsung would have to pay $158,000 for patent infringements.
But soon, as everything seems to indicate, there will be developments, which are expected during the summer. Its agreement with Google shows that the company's management is seeking an exit strategy from Steve Jobs' "thermonuclear ambitions" that were based on a completely unrealistic assessment of the dynamics of Apple's patent portfolio.
