Survey: Who drinks the most whiskey?

Because everyone loves statistics, especially when it’s about a topic that concerns everyone, we decided to publish a Euromonitor survey. The survey was published by Quartz and will help us “take” a quick look at global whiskey consumption. India, according to the survey, reportedly has the biggest drinkers in the world, perhaps due to its overpopulation.

when we put the survey numbers in proportion to population, India seems to fall very low on the list.  comes first France, followed by Uruguay, and the United States.  Greece comes in 17th place.
