The teenager is accused of hacking the personal email account of the CIA director and of publishing about 40 sensitive documents, which also include a 47‑page request for a highly classified security audit.

CNN reports that the boy was arrested on conspiracy charges for committing unauthorized computer access and was released on bail.

On his Twitter , the teenage hacker had posted links to files, which he claims include John Brennan's contact list, a list of phone calls from a former CIA director, and other documents.

The teenager is believed to be the leader of a hacking group calling itself “Crackas with Attitude,” who later found Brennan’s phone and called Verizon posing as the CIA chief’s staff to get more details about him. They used that personal information to request a password reset for Brennan’s AOL account. The group has over the course of several months extracted information from Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, and FBI Director Mark Giuliano.

The documents that were released were not strictly confidential and Brennan stated that he did not breach his responsibilities for security by using an AOL account.

The team, after the arrest of its leader, threatened that it will continue hacking the government even more intensely now than ever before!
