The hackers of the Lizard Squad group have recently managed to focus the spotlight on themselves, especially after the Christmas attacks they carried out on the Xbox Live and PlayStation Network services , thus preventing millions of gamers around the world from enjoying their favorite games online.
It seems that this particular attack, which took place with the classic DDoS ( Distributed Denial of Service ) technique, was a means of promoting the new (illegal) service “ Lizard Stresser ”, created by members of the Lizard Squad group. What does this particular service do…? Of course, it enables anyone to use the special tools it offers and carry out a DDoS-based attack on their own, easily and quickly. Of course, the Lizard Squad group charges this particular service with… no compensation , as a 100-second attack costs $5.99 , while for a 30,000-second attack, interested users will have to pay the amount of $129.99 . In addition to the above, Lizard Squad is also working on creating a plan for a lifetime subscription to the Lizard Stresser service ( where according to its initiators, their service is planned to last for 5 years ).
Of course, we don't know how long the service created by the Lizard Squad group will remain alive, as after the latest attacks, the FBI has launcheda manhunt to bring the members of this hacking group to justice.
