Contrary to various reports that have been released recently, the new Windows will run on 32 and 64-bit systems, as revealed by screenshots that have leaked in the last 48 hours.
According to people close to Microsoft, the company was considering making another major change to the new Windows, making the operating system only work on 64-bit and 128-bit systems, abandoning the 32-bit architecture, which is still very popular today.
Such a decision would make sense, given that the PC industry is gradually adopting 64-bit architectures for increased performance and better stability, but 32-bit systems still represent a significant portion of the industry.
New screenshots leaked online show that Microsoft has prepared test versions of the new Windows in 32 and 64-bit, with multiple supported languages such as English, Chinese, and Portuguese.
The 64-bit version of Windows 10 Preview will be approximately 4.10 GB in size, while the 32-bit version will come in the form of an ISO file, measuring 3.16 GB in size.
