Roccat has introduced a new mouse for hardcore gamers.
The Tyon mouse, in addition to the expected features, such as customizable buttons and a precision laser sensor, features two new control mechanisms that the company calls "Dorsal Fin Switch" and "X-Celerator".
The Tyon is equipped with a total of 16 buttons, as well as an Easy-Shift button that allows you to double the actions you can perform when pressing the buttons. It also has an 8,200 DPI laser sensor.
As for the new features, the Dorsal Fin Switch is a push-button located behind the wheel and designed to be activated by the knuckle of the middle finger. Although the company does not give any specific uses for it, it could potentially be used for quick weapon selection in FPS video games.
The X-Celerator "trigger", on the other hand, can be pulled up or down for several uses, such as for the pitch or pitch of an aircraft.
Finally, the Tyon offers two levels of lighting on the base and sides of the mouse wheel.
The device costs $100 on the other side of the Atlantic.
